No Fear, No Shame by Anne Turnbull

View full imageIn England in 1662, a time of religious persecution, fifteen-year-old Susanna, a poor country girl and a Quaker, and seventeen-year-old William, a wealthy Anglican, meet and fall in love against all odds. I just read this during our recent break. It is a beautifully written historical novel that details the persecution of the Quakers and the difficulties of young love. A sequel is coming soon!
