If you liked Flipped by Ms. Van Draanen, you'll love Confessions of a Serial Kisser. Evangeline is shocked when she discovers romance novels under her mom's bed. Not the kind of reading material she associates with her mom. Evangeline and her mom are struggling with their new life prompted by the separation of her parents so....E reads a romance novel and a self-help book and decides that she needs a goal to get her life back on track. She chooses the pursuit of a "crimson kiss" described in the novel and from there the book turns into a hilarious turn of events that land Evangeline in trouble with everyone--teachers, parents, classmates and even her best friend. This is a must read if you like a funny book!
