The Doom Stone by Paul Zindel

View full imageWhen fifteen-year-old Jackson visits his aunt in England, he becomes caught up in a chase to capture an unknown creature who is stalking and killing people on the plains surrounding ancient Stonehenge. This is a favorite scary book for Mickle students.

This is book is SO good! Every time a student came into our class during think time, they always asked the teacher "What book were you reading? It sounds good!" It's a little bit scary, a little bit adventure and LOTS of action! It should be turned into a movie. I give it 4 out of 4 stars!
